Dr. Andrea (Andi) Simon, a corporate anthropologist, founded SAMC in 2002 to bring the unique perspective of anthropology to businesses and organizations that need to change. Often SAMC clients have to re-imagine their company, their customers (and potential customers), products and cultures in order to overcome stalled growth. Or perhaps they face a rapidly changing business environment and need new ways to serve their current customers and find new ones. The reasons they come to SAMC reflect the challenges people have in understanding how to change.
Through the years as SAMC worked with companies and organizations, Dr. Simon developed a proprietary process called ChangeMap™, built upon anthropology and neuroscience research foundations. It’s common knowledge that our brains hate to change. Therefore, to really transform yourself and your company, you need a picture of where you are going, combined with a strong focus, repetition, density and multiple points of change. Andrew (Andy) L. Simon is a Partner and member of the SAMC professional consulting staff. He is an experienced business consultant who specializes in working with start-up and early-stage companies, as well as in helping established companies identify and open up new markets. Andy’s experience and expertise have well equipped him to work with companies that find themselves in need of growth strategies and business change management.
Andy has been developing the Inbound Marketing division for SAMC. As a certified HubSpot partner, SAMC uses digital methods to work with clients to build new customers and cultivate existing ones.
Andy joined SAMC in 2011 after founding and then building Questar Assessment, Inc. from a start-up company in 1994 to a highly successful competitor in the K-12 educational assessment space. He remains on the board of Questar today.
Andy brings a wide range of business development skills and proven expertise to our clients, with a strong understanding of how to help them think beyond what is often the ordinary.
